Merry! Merry!

Engineer son, Bubba, arrived home Friday night – which means it’s about to be Christmas.

This will, once again, be a very different Christmas celebration for us.

Even with the challenges, we’ll somehow manage to get everyone together for one meal – and work in the annual pilgrimage to the local 24-hour-even-on-Christmas-day Jack in the Box.

The kids have been making that annual trip for 14 Christmases now, and have allowed me to come along for the last 4.

It seems like a noble tradition to keep going!

Plus it allows me not to cook a wonderful Christmas dinner – crepes for breakfast instead, much more to my liking!

Whatever your traditions, we hope you have a wonderful celebration and take some time to enjoy the family and friends that surround you during the holidays as well as throughout the year.
