If you’ve ever looked at the Bright Hopes quilt block, it looks like it is sewn together like a log cabin quilt block – starting in the center and then adding “logs” to each side.
When you look more closely, you’ll notice that the center is a square surrounded by rectangles that are all the same size.
Surprisingly, there is a way to sew this block together without sewing any set-in seams:
