Whether you plan to use linen in your quilts or not, you may find it interesting to discover something about it. For example, did you know that the reason it wrinkles fairly easily is because there isn’t much elasticity in the fibers. Maybe in that regard it’s like polyester fabric – although I’d much rather use linen in a quilt than polyester! On the other hand, the fact that the fibers tend to break easily when they are constantly creased, might make it difficult to keep a quilt in one piece – if it were actually used!
